So is there a trick or something I'm missing? I cannot get the top to line up for anything. I have about a 1/4" gap on 3 of the 4 corner posts. From what I can see, all of the panels are hitting the slots. I have looked at it from every angle and can't figure this one out. All of the panels are also fully seated in the bottom 20x20 Extrusion channel. Maybe I'm just overly tired and missing something dumb.

I believe the L brackets aren't supposed to line up perfect with the bottom, it has the adjustable feet so you can set the printer slightly above where they would stick out to. If you attach from the top first, the L brackets stick out approximately 3mm from the bottom.

No problem! That's what I did for mine, and it works out perfectly. Keeps the side panels nice and tight in their slots too.

You should attach the top first then use the height of the panels to determine where to set the base plate. I believe the extrusions are just a tiny bit too short so the internal brackets stick out a little, sorry about that! Just another tiny beta quirk that I will need to fix for full production.

I got it all assembled this morning. Just working on wiring now. Now if my stupid controller board would ship I'd be all set. Ordered it last week and still has not shipped yet!

Same here, just waiting on the board, and the tslot nuts. it'll be about 20 minutes after that that i'll be ready to go to testing and calibration.

I'll have mine wired and ready for the board by tonight. Do the extruder tomorrow night, assuming the adapter arrives on time from the USPS. Then ready to rock and roll!

I have the rounded extrusions and side panels installed. Question: For the black extrusions that hold the bottom panel, do the remaining 4 plastic channels hold the ends of the side panels? If so, the bottom panel will be loose. What am I missing here? I guess that the L-brackets can push the bottom panel against the extrusion channel, and the corner brackets hold the extrusions together. Sorry for the confusion but I am unsure how they go together correctly. I'll appreciate suggestions from those who already have their frames completed.

Yeah the last 4 slots do go in the black horizontal extrusions. These black channels made by openbuilds are supposed to be made for 1/8" (3.125mm) panels, but acrylic sheets come in undersized by quite a bit so there is a lot of wiggle. It sucks but that's just how it is. Using the base plate to apply pressure on all of the panels does help a lot and should keep the panels from rattling at all during prints.I will be looking into ways to possibly reduce this gap, maybe something as simple as small printed inserts to wedge in along the edges of the panels.

Everything fits nicely and the frame feels solid and aligned. Nice! Thanks for all the hints.
