Hey all! I'm trying to order the extrusions from Misumi, and when I get to the order page, it's asking for a Carrier Account Number. I registered as an Individual account rather than an Enterprise account. Has anyone else gotten stuck here? EDIT: I was able to make an order from Misumi after playing around with it. The billing portion was due to the shipping option I had set. Everything should be good to go now! Everything is ordered

Yeah it can be confusing as it's meant for businesses mainly not so much individuals! For others purchasing from here, make sure you select "prepay and add" for your shipping method, then just do UPS ground shipping (unless you prefer a different service, but this is almost always cheapest).

The fedex option only allows you to use a 3rd party account... I choose UPS and it gave me the "prepay and add".

Just ordered all my parts for the Eclips3d. Just a heads up to those who haven't ordered yet - they show shipping as $0 and no tax. But then upon receiving their second email confirmation they add on both shipping and tax (at least in California, another state too I think). No idea if this applies outside the USA. It ended up costing about $18 more for me. All told I'm paying about $900 after shipping and a few dollars in tax despite trying to trim the cost where possible. Things like extrusions with four open sides instead of one or two, and corner brackets without the -C option for corner holes for mounting a cover to. Things like that.

When I placed my order, I never got a clear confirmation that the order was in, paid and being processed. That was about 10 days ago, I called in this morning to check on it and its shipping 2/4 (or about 2 weeks after I ordered) and shipping was $11.30.
They ship from two locations CA and Illinois so you probably pay tax in both states.
Not a complaint, just didn't seem as fluid as ordering from many retailers.

Sorry for abandoning this thread. I forgot I posted it. I figured out how to pay a few hours after I posted this, and forgot about this thread. I got everything paid for, and pretty happy with how my extrusions turned out.
$900 for everything to build the printer altogether, or just for the Misumi order? I think my Misumi order was closer to $200, but that was because I made two orders. I didn't see the other stuff in the BOM until later.

My Misumi total was also around $200. Just opened my Misumi box, very nicely packed. All together it was 2 weeks from order to recieve.

Sorry, I meant about $900 for the whole printer. Misumi was about $120 for me with shipping and tax. That was for the slightly cheaper extrusion open all four sides, "plain" corner brackets, and the square nuts which were shipped separately (plus more shipping) because I forgot them initially. As a heads up, they billed my credit card for the initial purchase then have billed me for shipping charges a week or more later. I left a comment on their site about this being a far from optimal ordering process and they actually called me back about it. Nice of them, but in the end they said that the first order from them can't calculate shipping or tax because their system can't do it. But purchases after that should show shipping charges.
