I just added a ViKi LCD v2.0 to Azteeg X5 mini V1.1 to my setup while bench testing the controller. Be sure to edit the config file on the sd-card to enable it: panel.enable true # set to true to enable the panel codeThe box was made from this STL file.

That looks pretty sweet! was that something you already had on hand or purchase just for this? I thought about adding the lcd to the azteeg order but decided I could use the $75 for a bunch of filament to get me going. As this will be my first 3d printer I don't have any experience using the lcd. do you find that the lcd is worth it to add it, do you use it quite a bit instead of the computer?

I purchased the LCD along with the Azteeg X5 mini. This is the second 3D printer I am building, the first one was a kit with somewhat poor instructions. I find the LCD helpful to look at and double check temperatures and settings without messing about with the PC. I also have done cloud based printing with 3dprinterOS running on a Raspberry-Pi and again the LCD allows you to see whats going on with the printer and gives you some local control.
