hello guys. maybe a dumb question. but does the cooling fan supposed to touch the heated block? i installed the fan/X endstop mount to the belt block from the back like andrew shows in the video but i haven't been able to get the proper clearance . ![]() Attachments:

Mine did the same thing. I had a couple extra M3 (great car) washers left over, and I used them there to get the proper spacing. Just be careful not to strip the aluminum it bolts into. That seems to be a recurring problem.

Yep, same thing here. I just got the extruded and fan duct all installed tonight and ran into the same clearance issue. I will try tomorrow to shim it with some washers.

Yeah the fan duct was originally designed around an e3d without the silicone cover. I just got some of these covers myself so I will be redesigning the bracket to accommodate and prevent it from touching!
