Hey Andrew So I am having an issue with the extruder assembly. The collar that holds the E3d to the carriage is too large for the E3D assembly. I dont really want to start removing material but I figure I will go ahead and use a file or something. But figured I'd let you know before I do encase of the off chance that I am assembling this part wrong.

Nope that's right. I did notice that a few of them that came in were too large so I did have to sand down a few of them myself to fit, it's possible I may have missed yours or yours may just require a bit more force to push on. Either way, sanding it down a little won't do any harm!

Hmm weird. Maybe the one hotend I used to test fit them all got worn down over time causing me to not remove enough material from the later ones I did. Either way, I'll be talking to Robotdigg in the future about making sure they are all within spec.

It seems there have been many little issues with Robotdigg. Is this normal or because these are first run parts?

Well no most of the other parts are custom machined, and yeah it is mostly just due to the beta run. Still have to get a lot of the parameters dialed in. This part was off the shelf from Robotdigg

Actually to tell the truth I am pleasantly surprised we have not seen so many more here. Thank you Andrew for letting me be a part of this en devour. My machine is 90% complete and it looks far better then my Ultimaker and if I can base it on the first Eclips3d printer it will print far better as well, "plus about 1/3 the price ". I wanna start a Show your progress post.
