Figured now that I have made some visual progress I would post up my printer build based on the eclipse. I have collected a bunch of parts over the years so that is mainly the reason I'm using some parts over others. I'm pretty new to 3d printing but not to CNC's I've built 3 cnc routers and converted a bridgeport mill to cnc. So I may have some questions on what people call what because I'm behind in some of the 3d printing lingo isn't the same as normal cnc terminology. Mostly I'm designing as I go. Using what I can for files provided here. So far it looks like I will have travels of around 350mm on the x axis and 300mm on the Y. So far the Z travels is yet to be determined. The main frame is made from 1.5 inch 8020, its a little oversized right now I will cut it shorter once all components are in place currently its 27"x27" OD. The gantry is from 1" 8020. The linear rails are ones I've collected. Instead of having a second level that all the bearings mount to I decided to build everything on the upper frame. The view your looking at will actually be pointing down. Can someone tell me what style plug this is connected to my stepper?
