Hello all, I am stoked to become a part of the eclipse community and hope to be able to contribute. I just finished my build and the electrical wiring. However, when I power on the Azteeg I get 2 blinking LED lights instead of the 4 solid ones I am told I should see. What I know: - When I power on the system, the SD card with the 2 files (firmware.bin and config.txt) files pops up as a drive on my computer.
- The power leads going to the Azteeg are correct
- The stepper motors are powered
Any help or things to look into would be appreciated. I will continue to run through the wiring and will post any additional info I find.
Best,
Eric

The firmware file shows as a Cursor file under type when the azteeg turns on and I view the sd card from my desktop.

Also, I tried getting the board to light correctly with default smoothie config and firmware files from the smoothieware git hub.
Not luck with this either.

Do you have an Azteeg v1.1 or v2.0? If you have the V2.0, try the firmware from this page: eclips3d.proboards.com/thread/116/azteeg-v2-config-txtIf its the 1.1 then just make sure you are using the exact files from the download link on my page. I would recommend formatting your sd card and then re-adding the files.

I have a V2 board which I should have mentioned.
I just tried the config files provided by that link with no luck.
I only see a config file on that page. Do you mean config file, or is there also a V2 firmware? Or, is the config and the firmware collectively referred to as 'firmware'?
Also, nice work on designing the printer!

Well the "firmware" usually refers to both files, however in this case both v1.1 and v2.0 use the same .bin files, just different config.txt files. Are you able to control the printer with the board despite only 2 led's being lit?

So, I did try just moving along in the instructions.
It appeared that the Repetier Host did connect to the machine, but no movement from the steppers.

Well scratch that. I tried again and the printer is ALIVE!
But, still, the middle two (2 and 3) LED's are blinking.
