Does anyone know if the supplied Eclips3d Firmware will work with other Cartesian printers. I have a Printrbot Simple Metal running Marlin firmware on a RAMPS 1.4 controller. My problem is that it mirrors all prints along the X axis. If the Eclips3D setup would work, I'd invest in duplicate electronics. Thanks for your answer or suggestions.

Well yes and no, the hardware will work but you will need to change the settings in the firmware's config.txt file. If your other printer is mirroring parts on the x axis, you likely either have your x axis reversed or you are having some kind of issues with your slicing software and orienting that. |
