After switching the black (neg) and green (signal) in the black three pin connector to match the Azteeg X5 schematic, should we leave in the red (pos) wire or remove it entirely? With the Z Axis rods facing back, which motor is the X motor? The right or left?

If you look on the azteeg board by the endstop pins it has each pin labeled. I don't remember it off the top of my head what the order is, but the green wire is signal, black is ground, and red is +5v. Just match them with the labeling on the board and you should be set!
