Should I be using blue locktite on all the metal to metal bolts, or any of them? I'm coming from the rc helicopter world and we locktite every bolt that goes into metal.
Thanks

I beleve that the only critical ones that need to have loctite are the grub screws on each of the steppers.

Loctite can't hurt but its only really necessary on the set screws on pulleys and the extruder mk8 drive gear!

For what it's worth, Loctite recommends their Purple variety for screws of this size. It's hard to find in stores though. I got some off Amazon and it has worked out well for me. I had to readjust the pulley heights and it was difficult, but not impossible, to remove those set screws. It seems very unlikely that they'll back out on their own from vibration. The set screws were held well enough by the purple Loctite that I non-permanently twisted my Wiha hex key while loosening the set screws. I can't imagine the stronger Loctite would be better in this case unless you have some on hand already and are quite sure you won't need to reposition set screws.
