There are 2 fans, but only one "fan port" on the Azteeg. What is the recommended way to wire these? The fan blowing into the duct -- should that also be controlled like the E3D fan?

The layer cooling fan should connected up to the "Fan" connector on the Azteeg X5. The extruder cooling fan should be wired directly to the 12v supply so that it is always on anytime there is power.

If you have a v2 board hook the layer cooling fan to the fan connector on the right. You can connect the hot end fan to the fan conector to the left or directly to 12v.
